Just wondering…
Using a very good portable Mhw x-press58- fairly new to the math of coffee- I wonder if you could add the option to see how many ml to start with?- eg 20gm dose, 40gm yield, 60ml starting water volume Lot of portables out there with small,callibrated tanks, would take the guesswork out ( for people like me!!)- might be handy for us camper tramper travellers?Thanks for considering this- I have no idea if that’d be real tricky or not🤪

Great news — the update you suggested is now live on the App Store! When a brew method is set to the Manual Espresso brew style, the calculator now surfaces a "water dose" alongside the coffee dose and yield, so you can measure the starting volume straight into your X-Press58's tank without guessing. To get it: 1. Open the App Store and update CoffeeCalculator (or wait for it to auto-update) 2. Open the brew method selector, edit your X-Press58 method, and set the Brew Style to Manual Espresso 3. Set the Puck Absorption value — based on the example you shared (20 g dose, 40 g yield, 60 ml start), an absorption of 1.0 will land you right on those numbers 4. Save, and you'll see the water dose appear next to your dose/yield on the main screen Thanks so much for taking the time to send this in — it was a genuinely useful suggestion, especially for the portable/camper crowd.
